いい加減しつこいかなと思いつつ、If today were the last day of my lifeとhave the courage to follow your heart and intuitionに引き続き、スティーブジョブズのスピーチからの引用。さすがにこれが最後になるけれど。

点と点をつないだら線になるっていうだけの話なんだけれども、それを人生に重ね合わせて考えると未来への漠然とした希望が湧いてくる。僕は飽きっぽいところがあって、いくつかの点をバラバラに置きながら人生を歩んできたように思う。でも、ジョブズのスピーチを聞くと、いつの日かバラバラに置いてきた点が１つに結実し、すなわち、僕が過去にやってきたいろいろなことが１つにつながり、大きな何かを成し遂げる瞬間、そんな時が来るのを信じれるようになった。

Again, you can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something — your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.
